IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist at KGH Digital you will be part of the IT ServiceDesk team, providing a single point of contact for many of our systems, supporting both internal and external customers. Within this role you will have a focus of our supporting users in our own developed SaaS solution - Customs Trade Digital Solutions. This includes helping both internal and external customers to ensure an optimal working environment. You will also troubleshoot technical issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required. 

Overall work responsibilities is regarding First- and Second line support of our customers, with specialization in current customs software. 

This role is office based in Strömstad, Sweden. 
  • Identify, log, investigate, and address service incidents and client requests.
  • Administrate user accounts in an AD environment; create new user accounts, handling password resets, update information and manage security groups.
  • Guide customers to help resolve issues or identify root causes.
  • Troubleshoot operating system- and application issues, resolving or escalating issues to the appropriate resource.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, experts and suppliers.
  • Stay current with changes in our environment, technology, system information and updates

This role is full time and position can be adjusted somewhat based on KGH's needs and the applicant's competence.

Qualifications:

We expect you to have experience working as part of a help desk /service desk team before in an international environment. The ideal candidate has experience from a similar role working with customs software. 

We are looking for someone that has great communication skills in English. Any additional languages will be very beneficial. Swedish or other Nordic language is highly desirable.  

In addition, experience of working with SQL, XSL and XML as well or similar will be a great benefit.

It is important that you:

  •    Are dedicated to providing good customer service
  •    Are used to working in a structured way
  •    Know how to communicate well with both customers and colleagues
  •    Have experience of working with Issue Tracking systems such as Jira orZendesk
  •    Have good general IT knowledge and have the ability to learn new systems
